IVAN DODOV, THE FAMOUS AQUARELLIST, DONATED MONEY TO THE VOCATIONAL TRAINING FOR YOUNG ADULTS FROM SOCIAL HOMES!
More than 10 years ago the well known artist Ivan Dodov donated to Tabitha Bulgaria Foundation one of his painting for an exhibition to NATO in Brussels along with many other famous Bulgarian artists. The fundraised money helped our organization launch a Vocational Training for underprivileged young adults in Massages and Cosmetics. We were lucky with their couches Boyka Kalamova and Veselka Gacheva who not only taught professional skills to the children but helped the children change their mentality and attitude toward their education and future. Many of the participants later on got Bachelor and Master degrees in physiotherapy. Now the project is funded by BAS (US).
At the end of 2018 the Ivan Dodov showed once again empathy with the destitute young adults and decided to donate 20 % of his sold paintings for the Vocational training in massages and cosmetics. Thanks to his kind heart he donated a lump sum to Tabitha Bulgaria Foundation which provided uniforms and shoes for the young people for their massages and cosmetics lessons and some oils, other products and cupping glasses.
