The corona virus challenged Tabitha’s campaign for Easter this year . However, thanks to the commitment and generosity of our donors we managed to provide an enjoyable Easter for the children and young adults at the social institutions which Tabitha Bulgaria Foundation has been supporting for years.
As ever we are indebted to Stichting Promotie (NL) for its understanding and contribution for the Easter holiday. It has been more than 10 years that they have supported social institutions for Christmas and Easter. We would like to express our personal gratitude to Mr. Maarten Koel, who never forgets the needs of the less fortunate children in Bulgaria at such holy days. We would like to acknowledge the active help of Tabitha Netherlands Foundation and the personal involvement of its Board and the Boitens.
We greatly appreciated the financial aid rendered by Tabitha’s volunteers from Werkvakantie Bulgarije – Samen Delen – Bruchen (Nl) and Corawill Inc, USA. For years before the pandemic they used to visit Vratsa social homes to work there and play with the children who loved them.
Our thanks go to the “Secret Angels”, a bunch of enthusiastic ladies from the international and local communities who did a great job for Easter for some of the institutions we work with.
We’d also like to acknowledge the timely donation of Raikovski family . Their son Sami (9 years old) shared his savings with the destitute children in Bulgarian orphanages. His contribution helped buying books, puzzles and toys for the children in Dupnitsa, Borovan and Mezdra social intuitions.
The execution of the project was done by Tabitha Bulgaria Foundation team who speared no time or efforts to provide the social homes with all the necessary goods for a happy Easter.
